Bubble, Bubble, Toil, & Trouble!
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Created for the 2025 Global Game Jam! The theme was "Bubble".
This is a short story about a witch (that's you!) who is hired to help brew magical drinks at a cafe. If you play your cards right, you might even find a lil' romance!
Due to the nature of the game jam, this is quite short, but it was a good opportunity to learn a little more about python and how to implement it into ren'py. It's been a good learning experience! _ess_' minigame script was a godsend as well, and i highly recommend you check out their work if you're interested in learning more about minigame creation.
Please note that you can use your keyboard to input your name at the beginning.
Linux users: I'm not used to building distros and I let ren'py automatically create it, so if there are any issues, apologies!
Enjoy the game!

I really like it! the background and character art are so nicely done. One thing I am having trouble with is the drink making, i've tried multiple times and I can't get it right i've even gone back and checked the instructions to see if I'm doing anything wrong and it seems that I'm not. idk I could just be dumb.
hi! thank you for checking the game out and for the kind words.
could you walk me through what you did to try and make the drinks? i appreciate the feedback; when I get a chance, I can clarify the directions.
