Drop in the Ocean (Game Demo)

Drop in the Ocean: An Online Story is a visual novel in three Acts about Emily, a woman in her late 20s who struggles to find companionship. She finds friends and a community of people, but also encounters some of the worst of the internet in the process. The game aims to explore themes of community and cyber/feminism while also acknowledging the harms that women and other marginalized people face while existing in an online space.

This demo contains most of Act 2, with Emily already situated in her online community, waiting for a big announcement from the developers of Emberlight, the community's favorite game. The full game is being developed.

Please note that this game contains extremely offensive sexist language and slurs. All of these are taken from real examples of online harassment experienced by women.
